Maria and Antony owned a very stylish mid-terraced Victorian house and had just completed a loft conversion. They had four children meaning space for them was the driving force in opting for a side return extension to accommodate their family. Not wanting to impact on their existing living space, we had to create a large kitchen/dinning all-purpose space for the whole family. We managed this with some clever re-modelling of the ground floor which entailed removing and moving some of the ground floor walls but keeping the large sitting room. As you can see from the photos we created a stylish area with creative storage. We installed a set of bi-folding doors and a low profile aluminium roof window, to let in as much light as possible. This build is a great example of how to make the most of every inch of a house, to reach its maximum potential. Maria and Antony continue to enjoy family life in their newly developed home, and are really pleased that the extension they dreamt they could have, was made a reality by Dreton.
